These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Abyss & Ascent website and services. By booking a course or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
Acceptance of Terms
- •By accessing and using our website or services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- •If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
- •We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Booking and Reservations
- •All course bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Abyss & Ascent.
- •A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- •You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.
- •Bookings are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by our team.
- •Special requests cannot be guaranteed but will be accommodated where possible.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
- •Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled course date are eligible for a full refund minus processing fees.
- •Cancellations made 7-14 days before the course date are eligible for a 50% refund.
- •Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course date are non-refundable.
- •Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.
- •We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient enrollment.
Health and Safety Requirements
- •All participants must complete a medical questionnaire before participating in diving activities.
- •Participants with certain medical conditions may require physician approval before diving.
- •You must be physically and mentally fit to participate in diving activities.
- •Participants must not dive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- •You must follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by our instructors.
- •Failure to comply with safety requirements may result in dismissal from the course without refund.
Certification Requirements
- •Participants must meet all course prerequisites and requirements to receive certification.
- •Certification is issued upon successful completion of all required skills, knowledge development, and assessments.
- •Participants who do not complete all requirements will receive a course completion statement but not certification.
- •All certifications are issued in accordance with international diving standards (PADI, SSI, etc.).
- •Certification cards may take 2-4 weeks to be issued after course completion.
Liability and Assumption of Risk
- •Diving involves inherent risks, and you acknowledge and accept these risks by participating in our courses.
- •You agree to release Abyss & Ascent, its instructors, and staff from any liability for injuries or damages incurred during diving activities.
- •All participants must sign a liability waiver before participating in any diving activities.
- •We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations, but recommend participants obtain personal dive insurance.
- •Abyss & Ascent is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Equipment and Gear
- •All necessary diving equipment is provided as part of the course fee unless otherwise specified.
- •Participants are responsible for inspecting equipment before use and reporting any defects immediately.
- •Participants are liable for any damage to equipment caused by negligence or misuse.
- •Personal diving equipment may be used with prior approval from instructors.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and course materials, is the property of Abyss & Ascent or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
Course materials provided during training are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with local laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
